Half Dutch, half Indonesian but Barnsley through and through, Rosalie has carved a career both at home and abroad - particularly on US radio - with her folky stripped back acoustics and shimmering voice.
She has been playing music since the age of four, touring with her family band - The Deighton Family - for 15 years before branching out on her own in 2001.
Since then she’s released three solo CDs and is currently working with her own band on a fourth.
Rosalie has toured with some big names in the business including Bryan Ferry’s Roxy Music, Boo Hewerdine and legendary rock maverick John Martyn. |
